You may be aware of a number of media reports regarding the establishment of the abovementioned bargaining council and the publication and extension to non-parties, of its Main Collective Agreement.

 This development may have an impact on certain Members of SAPRA and as a consequence, we have secured a process in terms of which MIBCO will obtain a legal opinion that will aid and assist SAPRA in advising Members as to the impact of this development, as well as the immediate actions Members should take in response thereto.

We would caution Members not to react in panic, but rather wait until we are able to provide further clarity.
